Treatment for children and adults are different. Other side affects are difficulty when you urinate, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or drowsiness. For childern doctors recommend not getting over heated and not too cold. The most common side affect of Sickle cell for kids are pain episodes which are hard to control and to see coming. However thier are many ways to help prevent the pain. Some examples are stress, drugs and not enough sleep. Thier are no effect cures for Sickle Cell yet.
